Event: Down the Quantum Hole by Fabien Bouhier (Science Cafe KL)

Science Cafe KL will be hosting a free public talk on Quantum Physics at The Bee, Publika in Kuala Lumpur. The speaker, Fabien Bouhier is a social media expert at Google by day, and a Quantum Physicist enthusiast by night. His idea is to make knowledge accessible to everybody – with or without any mathematical background – for free.

News: University of Sheffield launches partnership with Malaysia

The University of Sheffield’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir Keith Burnett will this week (4 – 11 April 2016) visit Singapore and Malaysia. A key focus of the trip will be to learn more about the region’s strengths in science, engineering and economic growth – meeting with a number of leading scientists, industrialists and educational leaders – and to launch the University’s Kuala Lumpur office.

National Science Challenge (NSC) 2016 is now open for registration. NSC is an annual science competition targeted to Form 4 students nationwide, who will stand a chance to win a study visit to Stockholm, Sweden to witness the annual Nobel Prize ceremony.
